Напоминаю, как по ходу сценария дело было. Сита вызвалась добровольно уйти в изгнание, несмотря на протесты Рама и на то, что была беременная, оставив нашего Рамачандру с разбитым сердцем.

Вот эта сцена - чемпион по просмотрам.

Прошли годы, дети родились и выросли. И вдруг такое изменение в мировоззрении. Во всех напастях виноват Рама. Это из-за него дети страдают и Сита, как мать, молчать не будет! Вот такой финт. И смотрят супруги друг на друга по недоброму, а посередине - дети. Им-то какая радость.
Сколько лет - то истории? 10000? И цари? И хоть что-нибудь поменялось с тех пор в человеческих отношениях?



Ram - Before me, it is the people of Ayodhya who should believe that these boys are the sons of devi Sita. If she wants that I accept these boys as my sons, then she will have to come to Ayodhya and give the proof of her chastity in front of public.
All are shocked beyond belief. Luv and Kush are not able to say anything. They greet Ram with folded hands and go out wiping their tears. Ram grimaces.

After the assembly is over
Kaushalya - What kind of justice is this Ram? Such a big punishment for being a woman? She has already given fire-test. In my opinion, even that was not justified. If you do not have faith in her, then any test is of meaningless. And if you have faith, then there is no need of any test. You are so insensitive Ram that your sons are in front of you but you cannot hug them. Rather, you ask for proof. Didn't you feel like taking your sons in your lap, Ram?
Ram - I wanted to, Ma.
Kaushalya - Then why did you continue to sit on the throne quietly?
Ram - Because I am bound by rajdharm. Try to understand my helplessness. I have so much of faith in and love for Sita that whole of my life, I can sleep on the ground and live like a hermit. But if people doubt Sita, then I cannot sit on the throne with her. Ma, did you hear the dissending voices of public? That is why I took this decision that Sita will have to give the proof of her chastity. Then such voices will not be heard.
Kaushalya - Who has made this rajdharm, Ram and why has he made it?

Ram goes to Sita's statue.
Ram - Sita, at least you can understand me that I am not doing it for my honour but because I want all Ayodhyavasis to give you the same respect, which they gave you earlier. I want them to treat Luv and Kush the way they treat me. I want that they should consider you as their Maharani wholeheartedly. I know how much everybody is pained by this decision of mine. But nobody knows how much I am pained that I cannot hug my own sons, I cannot call them as my sons. Only I know what I am going through. Everybody is thinking that I am punishing you and Luv and Kush. But the truth is that I am myself being punished. When this news reaches you, what will you think of me?

Sita sees Luv and Kush coming on a chariot driven by Sumant.
Sita - Looks like Luv and Kush are coming with Arya Sumant.
Bhardvaj - May be Sri Ram has sent the chariot to bring you.
Sita - But why didn't he come himself?
Bhardvaj - Devi, when he sent you to the forest, then also he did not come.
The chariot reaches the ashram. Luv and Kush are crying.
Sumant - Pranam Maharani. Pranam rishivar.
Sita - What happened Luv and Kush. Why are you crying?
But Luv and Kush do not say anything.
Sumant - Rishivar, Ayodhyapati Sri Ram has sent this letter for you.
Valmiki - Please read what is written in it.
Sumant - Maharshi, I beg your forgiveness. I cannot dare to read this letter. You please read it yourself.
Valmiki looks the letter and is very worried.
Sita - What happened gurudev? What is written in it?
Valmiki - Ayodhya's king Sri Ram has written that if Maharani Sita wants him to accept her sons, then she will have to come to Ayodhya and give the proof of her chastity.

Sita is so shocked that she does not know what to say. She goes to her room and keeps on thinking about the letter. Luv and Kush come there.
Kush - Ma, now you will not face any test. If pitaji does not accept us, then no problem. We do not want to go to the palace. For us, you are both mother and father.
Luv - Ma, when you have done nothing wrong, then why any test? We will not go to pitaji. We will live here in this ashram.
Sita - No sons, you should not talk like this about your father. You should respect your father and the dynasty of Raghu. You should not forget that you also belong to the same dynasty. And it is your duty to maintain the honour of that dynasty.
Kush - But pitaji also should respect you and he should not forget that you are a Maharani of Raghu dynasty.
Luv and Kush go out of the room.

Valmiki - Bhardvaj, I never thought that such a thing can happen.
Bhardvaj - Gurudev, you know everything.
Valmiki closes his eyes for sometime.
Valmiki - I can clearly see Luv and Kush as the scions of Ayodhya, Bhardvaj.
Bhardvaj - Gurudev, this problem?
Valmiki - This problem is temporary. Once again, I will challenge the play of destiny.

Sita - Gurudev, is this justified to reject one's own sons only to satisfy the public? Why are they being punished for the purpose of society? First I was punished. Now my sons. Gurudev, if I am saying something wrong, then please stop me. Swami was known to be just and compassionate.
Valmiki - I myself cannot understand why destiny keeps on testing you.
Sita - So long destiny was testing me, I was quiet. But now the tests will affect my sons. I will not keep quiet.
Valmiki - Daughter, when the circumstances are not in your favour, then you should have patience. Do not get angry. Pray to God that you should get your honour back in Ayodhya.
Sita - Whether I get my honour in Ayodhya or not but my sons must get their due rights. I want to stop these controversies once and for all. This time, Ayodhya has raised objections not only on a wife's but also on a mother's conduct. Gurudev, I will go to Ayodhya. And this journey will be decisive.
Sita's face is full of tears, anger and determination.

Sita prays to Lord Shiv.
Sita - Lord, today by your blessings, I am going to get my sons their due rights. Give me strength that I succeed.
The ashramvasis gather around her.
Sita - What is the matter?
One rishikumar - We are happy that you are going to the palace. We have only one request that after going there, please do not forget us.
Sita - What is this you are saying? I gave two sons in this ashram. How can I ever forget it? How can I forget the love and respect I got here?
Valmiki comes with Luv and Kush.
Valmiki - Daughter, it is not right to delay any more. Let us go.

Nari ki kya tyaag bhavna, purush pradhan samaaj na bujhe
Nishthur nirnay karke kiski kya kshati kar di use na sujhe
Deepshika ka deepshikha hai, kab tak jhanjhavad se jujhe
Apnon ne apne ki aisi dasha banayi hai

Valmiki comes to Ayodhya's palace with Sita, Luv and Kush. The rajmatas are so happy to see their daughter in law after so many years. Sita's sisters shed tears of happiness. Hanuman bows to Valmiki with folded hands. Ram remembers his marriage with Sita. He hangs his head. Somehow he composes himself and looks up again. Everybody stands up. Sita, Luv and Kush greet everybody.
Valmiki - My blessings to all of you. Please be seated.
Ram and Sita look at each other but this time there is no smile.
Valmiki - Raghunandan Sri Ram, devi Sita is here as per your order. If you wish and if you still stick to your decision, then you can give a test for Sita's chastity. But before that, I want to make a request. All the rishis, maharshis, gurus and the members of the royal family, I, Maharshi Valmiki, the tenth son of Pracheta, announce that whatever I have spoken in my life is only true. With all the people on this Earth and all the gods in sky, I, Valmiki, take oath on that truth and I say that these two boys Luv and Kush, who are born of Sita, are your sons. I have put not only my body but also my souls in my hundreds of years of askesis. By my yogic power, I could see Sita's chastity that gave her room in my ashram. I take oath in the name of my yogic power that devi Sita is the personification of chastity. Raghunandan, I know that devi Sita is dearer to you than life. I also know that you do not have even slightest doubt on Sita. But only the fear of the censure from public is stopping you from accepting devi. But I give you assurance that sin cannot even touch Sita. And if it has ever happened, then let me lose all the virtues I have earned at this very moment. If you believe me, then come forward and accept Sita and give her her due place on the throne of Ayodhya.
