В какой-то момент я думал: "Только не Каушалья, только не Каушалья!!" Но Сагары ведь без этого не могут. Хорошо, что хоть всех трёх "бабушек" к Раме отослали, ибо сцены Рама-Каушалья один на один как-то зашкаливают.
Ох и крут наш махарадж, ох и крут.. У него не забалуешь! Сегодняшняя сцена была круче чем убийство Равана и агнипарикша вместе взятые!

LK - Accept our greetings, Ayodhyapati. We Luv and Kush are the sons of Ayodhyapati Sri Ram and devi Sita.
Some Ayodhyavasis - Oh they are our princes, the scions of Ayodhya. Please accept your sons, Maharaj.
Luv and Kush are very happy to hear this.
But some people raise dissending voices.
They say - How will it be proved that these boys are telling the truth? How will it be proved when Maharani is not here?
The two groups of people start arguing.
Ram moves towards Luv and Kush. All are waiting with bated breaths. All eyes are on Ram. Luv and Kush are waiting eagerly. But Ram walks past Luv and Kush and goes to his room. The happiness quickly turns into despair. Hanuman is shown to be shocked beyond belief on seeing this.
Valmiki rishi is meditating on a hill top.
He thinks - Sri Ram did not hug their sons? If daughter Sita comes to know of this, she will be so shocked. Before she hears this and something untoward happens, I must reach the ashram.
Ram is alone in his room, remembering the questions raised by Luv and Kush during the battle. He also remembers how Luv and Kush refused to stay in the palace because Sita was insulted there.
Kaushalya, Kaikeyi and Sumitra come there.
Kaushalya - Ram, you did not even look at those boys like your sons? They are parts of your own heart, Ram.
Kaikeyi - You left the assembly as if they are not your sons but your enemies.
Sumitra - They were so eager to meet their father and you?
Kaikeyi - Have all of your emotions died? Why didn't you hug them?
Ram - Which father would like to hug his sons, Ma?
Kaushalya - Still you turned your face away from them?
Ram - I was helpless.
Kaushalya - But I am not helpless. I am not going to repeat the mistake I made when Sita was being exiled.
The rajmatas look determined and they go out.
Ram thinks - Why doesn't anybody think of the turmoil in my heart? I am so helpless because of rajdharm that I cannot hug my own sons.
Luv and Kush are talking outside the palace.
Luv - Bhaiya, I thought that when pitaji comes to know that we are his sons, then he will be very happy and will hug us.
Kush - Yes, Luv. I also thought that pitaji will be very happy of our valor and would like to know about mother.
Luv - But pitaji neither asked about mother nor met us. Perhaps, we did something wrong.
The Rajmatas come there.
Sumitra - You did nothing wrong.
Kaikeyi and Sumitra hug Luv and Kush. Then Kaushalya hugs them and gets emotional.
Kaushalya - You do not know how much I cried for you. When I saw you the first time, then itself I felt that you are my own.
Kaikeyi - You did not think of your dadi? You did not tell us even once that you are my Sita's sons.
Sumitra - Why didn't tell us?
LK - Dadi Ma, we also wanted a lot to meet you all and tell about us. But we were helpless and were waiting for the right time.
Kaushalya - How is my bahu Sita?
Kush - Ma is fine, Dadi Ma?
Luv - Is pitaji angry with us?
Kaushalya - No, he is not. Rather, he is very happy. But
Luv - But what?
All the three dadis are unable to give any answer.
Kush - We understand. When pitaji rejected Ma, then he was bound by rajdharm. Today, when he has to accept his sons, then also he is bound by rajdharm.
Luv - Then Maharani Sita was alone, but today her sons are with her.
Kush - We will never let the rajdharm affect our mother.
Luv and Kush go leaving their dadis crying.
In Valmiki ashram
Sita - Kumar Bhardvaj, there is no news of Luv and Kush from Ayodhya.
Maharshi Valmiki comes there. Sita greets him.
Sita - Gurudev, there is no news about Luv and Kush.
Valmiki - Do not worry. Luv and Kush are very happy.
Sita - My mind is full of doubts. Please tell me how Luv and Kush are.
Valmiki thinks - Please do not put me in dilemma, daughter. How can I tell you that Ayodhyapati Sri Ram has not accepted Luv and Kush as his sons.
Sita - Why don't you say something, gurudev? Are Luv and Kush fine?
Valmiki - Luv and Kush are very well. They were welcomed in Ayodhya. Their dadis hugged them affectionately. The people are happy that they got the scions of Ayodhya.
(So Valmiki revealed only that part, which would make Sita happy.)
Sita - Why did Swami say? Did he accept Luv and Kush? Did he hug them?
Valmiki turns his face away.
Valmiki - You want to know everything now? When Luv and Kush come here, then know something from them too. They also should have something to say to their mother?
Sita thinks - I think that gurudev is hiding something.
Ayodhyavasis are discussing - Those boys are so brave. It is not easy to defeat Bharat, Laxman and Shatrughan. Maharaj should have understood earlier itself that they are his sons. When those boys have themselves said it, then what problem does Maharaj have in accepting them? We will request Maharaj to bring Maharani Sita and to accept Luv and Kush as his sons.
Dissending voices - But what is the proof that they are Maharaj's sons? Tomorrow anybody comes and says that he is Maharaj's son, will be accept him as our prince?
The assembly resumes.
Bharat - Bhaiya, what have you decided about Luv and Kush?
Laxman - You must take a decision about them, bhaiya.
Shatrughan - Yes bhaiya, if you do not accept Luv and Kush today, then it will be a gross injustice with them.
Some Ayodhyavasis - But what is the proof that these boys are telling the truth? Devi Sita should herself come here and give proof that these boys are telling the truth and also prove her chastity.
The two factions of Ayodhyavasis again start arguing.
Vashishth - Ram, the Ayodhyavasis present here want to know what decision you have taken.
Ram - Before me, it is the people of Ayodhya, who should believe that Luv and Kush are my sons. If Sita wants that I should accept these boys as my sons, then she has to come to Ayodhya and give the proof of her chastity.
Luv and Kush are shocked like their hearts have been thunder-stricken.
It was a very sad episode and the excellent acting by all made it more so.
