Jai Siya Ram
Laxman and Urmila are looking for Ram. From the way Laxman is again and again calling, "Ram bhaiya, bhaiya, where are you?", it is quite evident that he is very worried.
Laxman - Where could Ram bhaiya have gone in the middle of the night? All others are sleeping. But do not know what has happened to Ram bhaiya.
Urmila - There must be something serious.
Laxman - During exile in the forest, it never happened that Ram bhaiya went somewhere, like this, in the night.
Urmila - May be there is something, which he does not want to share with anybody.
Laxman - What could it be? Ram bhaiya cannot do any mistake in raj-dharm. The subjects are happy.
Urmila - In life, there are things besides raj-dharm too, swami. There are many problems and many secrets. There may be some trouble in his family life.
On the other hand, Ram is talking to Sita.
Ram - Sita, there is difference between family and raj-dharm. It is not proper to combine the two. Otherwise, family life will be in trouble.
Sita - Forgive me, swami, but you never took family life seriously.
Ram is shocked to hear this.
Ram - Have I committed some mistake?
Sita - I cannot dare to call it your mistake. But I can say that now you do not trust your Sita. If you do not treat Sita as an outsider, then you do not even consider her as your own. What I should have known from you, I came to know that from others.
Ram - You should forget all those talks.
Sita - Are you able to forget? You yourself said that we should even willingly face problems in personal life for the sake of subjects. You took promise from me that we should kill this new Ravan, which is in the minds of people, by making sacrifices. Keeping subjects happy has been the tradition of Raghukul. I, the princess of Mithila and the queen of Ayodhya, take a vow that even at the risk of my life, I will honour the tradition of this great dynasty.
I am really hating this idea of showing that Sita herself insisted on exile. Sagars think that they can justify the exile only by changing the story like this. But suppose, just for the sake of argument, that it would have been wrong if Ram had himself taken decision of exiling Sita. If so, then it was wrong to do so even if Sita herself demanded for it. Do Sagars want to say that if Sita demanded from Ram that he should harm her, then Ram was ready to harm her? And if the exile was right, then it was right even if it was Ram's own decision. It is also possible that the intention of Sagars is to show that Ram got convinced by the arguments of Sita. But they could have also shown that Ram got convinced to exile Sita by discussing with himself (atma-manthan). What was the need of changing the story? By changing the story, Sagars have not achieved anything good. Rather, they have shown Ram as weak.Angry
Sita walks away from there. Ram cries after him, "Site, do not leave me."
Of course, I do not like this changed story. But Gurmeet had to act as he was told. His acting is very good. The pain in his eyes is quite palpable.
Laxman and Urmila are continuing to search for Ram and Sita.
Laxman - Inform this to Bharat bhiaya. May be he knows something.
Sita is parying to the ancestors of Ram.
Sita - You all ancestors must be feeling ashamed that even after hearing so many things, the king of Ayodhya wants to keep his wife in the palace.
So now Sagars are trying to show that Ram's actions shamed his ancestors. Angry
Ram comes there.
Sita - Look swami, even your ancestors feel the same what I feel.
Ram - I know Sita that you are the kind of woman, who can give up all comforts for the sake of her husband, who can lay down her life for the honour of Raghukul. But Sita, for me...
Sita - Swami, we must accept what the situation demands. You are king. You have to take care of so many things. But I am only worried about you and the dynasty of Ayodhya. I cannot keep quiet if somebody blames you. If you had taken this decision, then I would have felt proud of you.
Laxman comes there.
Ram - Laxman, we are here to take a very important decision.
Laxman - What is that decision, bhaiya?
Ram - At the right time, you will come to know.
Saying this, Ram goes from there, facing difficulty in holding back his tears.
Sita is shown talking to her to-be-born child.
Sita - My dear, together with your mother, you are also going to face a tough test. In your father's raj-dharm, you also have to contribute. Therefore be ready together with your mother to walk on the path full of thorns. And you must accept my decision. Do you hear me, my dear? If yes, then promise me that you will support me in my journey. I take your silence as agreement and I am going to begin my journey(Very good actingSmile)
Raj-mahal aur raj-sukh, swajanon ka anurag
Swami ke hit mein chali, Sita sab kuchh tyag
Sita ki hai garbhavastha, van mein na koi suvidha na vyavastha
Aagat ka dukh bina vichare, chal di rajagya sir dhaare
Bandi-grih mein bandi ke nishchil hote saal
Sita ke vanvaas ka kintu anischit kaal
Dridh nishchay, sankalp atal hai, Sita se raghukul ka kal hai
Rakh li hai surakshit jah amul nidhi ram ki
Jab awashyakta seva aur vishram ki
Jab awashyakta seva aur vishram ki
Tab Ram tyagkar, chal di Laxmi dhaam ki
Siya Ram hi jane kya lila Siya Ram ki
Nice song. Especially the last line is the best.Smile
Ram is in his room, very worried. Sita is already in vanvasi dress. The background song says:-
O vidhna teri chaal samajh na aaye
O vidhna teri chaal samajh na aaye
To jisko jaise jab chahe, vaise naach nachaye
O vidhna teri chaal samajh na aaye
O vidhna teri chaal samajh na aaye
Raghuvar ko pati-roop mein paane
Siya gayi Gauri maat manane
Aganya anginat upvas jinke karan rakhe Siya ne
Dur unhi se jane ka ab manas lagi banane
Kyun hridayon ko laye nikattam, kyun phir dur hatayen
O vidhna teri chaal samajh na aaye
During the song, beautiful moments of Ram and Sita were played back.
Ram is pained to see Sita in vanvasi dress.
Ram - Sita, this vanvasi dress!
Sita - Maharaj, the sooner we accept the truth of my future life, the better it will be.
Laxman comes there.
Laxman - Bhabhi, what are you talking about? Bhaiya, what truth is bhabhi talking about?
Sita - Laxmna, the people of Ayodhya feel that having lived in Lanka, I am not fit to be the queen of raghukul. Therefore, for the sake of maintaining the honour of this great kul, I am leaving Ayodhya and going to forest. Maharaj's silent agreement is hidden behind my decision. I do not wish to be an obstacle in Maharaj's raj-dharm. Therefore, I am going to forest.
Laxman - No bhabhi, I will not let you do this.
Sita - Laxman, whole life, you have honoured my words and feelings. For the last time, I wish that, considering this as my order, you accompany me till the forest. I am the king's other half. There his feelings are also hidden in my feelings.
Laxman - Bhabhi, I refuse to obey this order.
Sita - If you cannot fulfill my wish, then I will go alone.
I liked the way Sita was talking to Laxman here. The way she was smiling showed her affection towards Laxman very well. Smile
Sita takes Ram's blessings.
Sita - Give me your blessings that I succeed in my aim.
She touches Ram's feet and Ram blesses her.
Sita goes out. Ram is pained but does not stop her.
Laxman - Bhaiya, if this is your decision, then I am ready to accept it. But, before going, let me tell you my decision that I, the son of Dashrath, will not come back to Ayodhya. And nobody can overturn my decision, not even you.
Сагары рехнулись!
Laxman goes out. Ram sits down crying.
I did not like the story. But the actors performed excellently. Anger is considered bad. Lekin agar gussa Laxman ke jaisa ho, to achchha.
