From the direct feedback that I have gotten from friends who live in foreign countries, Sanjaya is not neccesarily
seen as the western media has presented him. My impression is that he really made an impact on people in many cultures. I was talking to a friend from Japan and he commented that the Japanese are very aware of Sanjaya and respect the way he presented himself on the show. He said that they were surprised how "asian like" he is as far as his humility and grace under fire. A comment was made that Sanjaya represented a mission to bring people all over the world together! To hear that from someone in Japan almost made me cry. He says that at least one child in every classroom in Japan knows of and is a Sanjaya fan! He commented that the Japanese are very aware of the negative nature of western media.
I think we have a worldwide phenom on our hands.
We are very much exploring the international market. It WILL be a large part of Sanjayas career.I have and we have developed more connections with people from many countries. We will now utilize these connections to further Sanjayas career. The world is such a small place anymore, to not impliment this option, especially with Sanjaya would be a travesty, and a huge business mistake.
